Michael and Evan Almeida, creators and owners of the ATM Shield, have over 15 years of collective experience in the ATM industry. Nationwide, their ATM company maintains and services over 3,000 ATM machines, 600 of which they both own and operate.
Over the years, the Almeida’s have specialized in providing mobile ATMs for venues across the country, such as festivals and music, sports, and entertainment events.
This experience proved to be most influential in their invention of the ATM Shield.

Time is of the essence when serving the public at special events using temporary-based ATMs at distant locations. No down time for units that are exposed to higher-than-average volumes of customers, despite the fact that they are frequently subjected to weather, food, and spills.
When on the road, malfunctions, repairs, and out-of-service machines become even more difficult to handle, and there is no time to order parts and service a machine. A dysfunctional ATM results in dissatisfied customers, a huge loss of profits, and a tarnished reputation in the industry.
